Toppled Ice cream cone model – 1.5-2m – any suggestions on how to make?
I need to make a model of a toppled icecream cone….
cones end pointing upward, icecream on the floor slightly smudged…I need suggestions on material i can use for the cone and the icecream.
For the cone,i was considering 1mm forex sheet with high resolution printing of cone design on vinyl and pasting it on the forex sheet.
i need to find a solution for the ice cream a material which will giv the real feel and can hold the forex cone mounted upon.
ill need to add color to the ice cream part…maybe dip it in oil paint…or pour over it to give it the feel…
will this effect the material?
At least consider the canned almost rigid insulation foam that is used for filling cracks around wiring, pipes, and window frames If you need to do enough, it comes in bigger boxes and in tanked dispensers for doing walls. It is also used for foam in place packaging – wrap your item in a plastic bag and fill the space between it and the box with foam.
“real feel” of ice cream is cold and wet, so you will have to define what you mean in terms of a permanent installation – polyurethane foam is softer than the insulation, but harder to handle, I think, and may need a support inside to hold up the cone.
