Should I take a post-bacc in business for business school?
I recently graduated from a prestigious research university with a major in Anthropology and a double minor in business and creative writing. I want to get into a good MBA program and I don’t know if I should take a post-Bacc in business to improve my record. Business wasn’t a huge concentration at my university so I didn’t take too many business related classes. I took marketing, business law, negotiation, etc but I didn’t take any finance courses.
Should I take a postbacc in business to improve my foundation and my chances or should I just invest the next 2-3 years getting a solid internship/ job.
You won’t be allowed into a worthwhile (AACSB-accredited) MBA program unless you have several years progressive and promising experience (plus a good MCAT score).
Unfortunately, your degree in Anthropology makes it unlikely you will get good employment.
